Update on Sandra
Sandra recently finished her 12-month regime of TB medicines, so it was time for her review with the neurosurgeon. She had another CT done to compare to the scan that was done when she was first brought to the hospital by DLM last November. The doctor said everything looked great, and he was happy to see her walking and to hear her say "I'm fine". We thank God for these blessings. The sickness and surgery continue to affect her emotional development, which the doctor said could return or it could always be like that. Thankfully, she can manage to do everyday tasks and such. The doctor had no problem with her returning to school next year. Before starting, she will take some exams to see what class or grade level she can manage. We thank God for her recovery and life!! Glory to God!
Our number of Bible study students at Jeholand Junior School in Kabowa, which includes our sponsored kids and other children who board, has swindled down this month. We usually have about 25 children but have only had a dozen children for the last two Bible study meetings. Most of the kids are Primary 7 students who have recently finished the nationwide exam to move on to the next level of education and are now on holiday. The primary 7 students finished on November 7 while the other primary students finished on November 22.

Bible Study in the Village
Saturday, November 23
Bible Study with the children in the village is held at my neighbor Mama Dora’s house. Today we learned the attribute of God that He is infinite. He can’t be measured by time or space, and He doesn’t have a beginning or an end. The theme verse was Isaiah 40:28, which the kids copied on a sheet of paper and placed in their Bible study files that DLM purchased for them. Glory to God!

Today was the graduation of the top class members from Jeholand Junior School where our primary educational sponsor kids attend. They wore their caps and gowns and received a certificate. It’s like kindergarten graduation, as they will be moving to primary 1 class (1st grade) in January when the new school year starts.
It was also a concert day when all of the classes performed for the parents. The classes did different things such as quoting a memory verse, dancing, singing, and performing a skit. Here are a few video clips of some of the performances. Speeches were also given, and Aunt CiCi, of course, had to be on the list to give a speech. Haha! I’m thankful the school allows me to have Bible study each week with these kids and to be involved in this way at their school. It’s a blessing!
